Role: Wine Supervisor

We are creating a new role at Oranj to lead the wine programme at our wine bar and restaurant.

This means

• visiting trade tastings
• ordering wines for service
• managing daily BTG selections
• wine briefing floor team daily
• leading and overseeing wine selling during service.

Perks include Sundays & Mondays off, one admin day per week, cost price wine, international winemaker visits.

What experience and personality traits do you need for this role?

Candidates should be charismatic, confident, love leading, enjoy teaching, briefing and inspiring colleagues about our wine list and enjoy the magical moment of selling a customer that perfect bottle for them.

They must have an infectious passion and knowledge for natural wine.

They will already have worked with wines from any of the following portfolios: Tutto Wines, Vine Trail, Dynamic Vines, Modal, Passione Vino, Gergovie Wines, Wines Under The Bonnet, Les Caves, Sager & Wine, Basket Press, Beattie & Roberts, Wrights Wines, Otros Vinos, Wayward Wines.
