- As a Head Chef you are solely responsible for the successful running of the kitchen and you are in a position of
high responsibility within the operation and key to the success of the business and thus must always carry
yourself in a professional manner.
- Your tasks will include (but are not necessarily limited too), the efficient
and successful running of the kitchen in line with company procedure.
- You will need to control rotas/
ordering/stock/allergens/menus/ team.
- Be involved with the production and service of all food leaving the
kitchen.
- Take an active role in the recruitment and training of all chefs in the kitchen.
- Be a positive influence
on others.
- Liaise well with the General Manger and FOH team and create a cohesive environment to work
in.
- Interact well with customers.
- Ensure that the kitchen is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness,
accepting, and organizing deliveries.
- Have exceptional knowledge in and adhere to all health and safety and
food safety practices.
- Always be an ambassador for the business and work to the highest standards.
