Position Summary

As a Team Member (Bagel Bouncer), you are an essential part of the guest experience. You'll greet customers, take orders, prepare and hand off products, and help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment. This role works closely with both front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure every guest receives friendly service and fresh products with speed and accuracy.

At PopUp Bagels, team members are cross-trained across multiple stations, providing opportunities to learn different aspects of the business while supporting overall shop operations.

What You'll Do

• Deliver exceptional hospitality by welcoming and engaging with guests
• Accurately take customer orders and process transactions through the POS system
• Prepare, package, and hand off bagels, spreads, beverages, and other menu items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout guest-facing and service areas
• Communicate menu offerings, ingredients, and promotions to guests
• Ensure orders are accurate and presented according to company standards
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain smooth and efficient operations
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company operating procedures
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, opening, and closing responsibilities
• Support multiple stations through cross-training and teamwork

What We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Previous experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service is a plus, but not required
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move for extended periods during scheduled shifts
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday
• Ability to work in a fast-paced food service environment
