Job description
Celtic Developers Group is looking for a General Manager to lead our team. Celtic Developers Group consists of four bustling locations in NoMad, Union Square, Times Square, and Midtown East which focus on harboring good “craic” in a stunning environment. All of our high volume locations have fun bars where our guests feel like family. We hope to provide an extravagant environment where every night is made better with just a touch of sophisticated debauchery.

The General Manager’s Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead a capable and charismatic team of both FoH and BoH employees
• Implement, oversee, and maintain all policies
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting for all controllable costs
• Full P & L Management. Responsible for overseeing budgets, forecasts, labor, and profitability
• Maintain an A letter grade from the DOH by ensuring all food handling, sanitation, and food safety requirements are being followed
• Maintaining standards according to DOH, fire safety, and employment regulations
• Create a positive company culture of a commitment to excellence which must start from the top down
• Work with our Marketing Director to foster and oversee a large events program
• Be the respected leader of a team of 60-80 employees in a firm but gracious manner

Required Skills:
• Must exemplify the highest standards in honesty, integrity, and leadership
• NYC DOH Food Handler’s Certification
• 3-6 years experience as a General Manager of a large full-service establishment (NYC experience is a plus)
• Experience working in many levels and departments of the restaurant business with genuine respect for the role that every team member plays in the restaurant’s success
• Proven team player willing to roll up your sleeves
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word
• A good sense of humor and passion for hospitality
• A passive ego to maintain a positive attitude with employees and guests
• Experience opening a new restaurant is a plus
