The Roebuck, based in Borough, is a beautiful, Victorian pub with a large outside area and a relaxed upstairs lounge. The Roebuck is part of Parched Ltd, a small group of south London pubs which are passionate about hospitality and sustainability....
Proudly serving a seasonal, locally sourced menu, The Roebuck offers a great work environment where the right individual can thrive and further develop their skills and experience in the industry.
As a small company we encourage initiative and a creative approach, therefore a manager with the right ideas will have the chance to influence the day-to-day running of the business and be given the opportunity to further train & progress.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience (at least 12 months) in managing fellow work colleagues in a hospitality setting and leading shifts on your own
- Ability in training new staff and upholding company standards
- Strong customer service skills
- A proactive team player with a positive attitude, great eye for detail and a good work ethic
- An individual with great personality whom customers can recognise as being knowledgeable & "in charge"
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends
- Right to work in the UK & fluent English
What we can offer:
- Hourly rate based on previous experience from a minimum of £15/hour.
- Service charge paid weekly, currently averaging around £2/hour.
