What we are looking for:
An enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our team—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in high standards, and brings genuine passion and energy to the kitchen. Parallel shares the same ambition and forward momentum as Pasture, striving for excellence while following its own unique path as a distinct concept.
The restaurant focuses on small plates served at a counter-style setting, showcasing hyper-seasonal dishes prepared using a variety of techniques, including cooking over charcoal. We work exclusively with the best local produce available, ensuring all our beef and fish are sustainably sourced.
What You’ll Be Doing:
At Parallel, our beautiful small plates restaurant, you'll be part of a team creating bold, seasonal dishes designed to impress. From carefully grilled meats over charcoal to delicate, produce-led plates, you’ll take ownership of your section, supporting smooth, efficient service throughout even the busiest moments. Whether it’s a casual midweek dinner or a special occasion, our focus is always on delivering exceptional quality with creativity and care. You’ll be responsible for prepping your station with precision, staying organised, and contributing to the kind of memorable dining experience that defines Parallel.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Demi CDP or CDP in a busy restaurant
Passion for cooking – especially when it comes to burgers, wings, and sides
Team player – you thrive in a collaborative kitchen environment
Fresh produce lover – experience working with quality local ingredients
Drive for growth – eager to learn and develop in your career
Highly organised and able to keep a clean working environment
