Building meaningful connections with our guests to deliver vibrant and engaging corporate and leisure events is key to this role!


Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for all Meeting & Events (M&E) inquiries from clients, ensuring timely and accurate responses, and meticulously inputting bookings into the system.
  • Greet clients upon their arrival for events, maintaining a proactive presence throughout functions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct venue show rounds for both pre-booked and walk-in clients, providing detailed information on meeting requirements, securing future bookings, and successfully closing sales leads.
  • Demonstrate a service-focused attitude, consistently exceeding client expectations by efficiently and professionally handling all inquiries.
  • Perform daily reviews of bookings to ensure revenue accuracy and proper event details, communicate all Banquet Event Orders (BEO), and event lists, and handover information to internal departments.
  • Secure prepayments and resolve account queries, ensuring full payments are received before the event starts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee flawless execution of all event components.

Skills:

  • Preferred experience as a Meeting & Events Coordinator in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications and relevant software programs.
  • MUST possess a working knowledge of Opera Sales Catering software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hands-on approach with a can-do work style
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
  • Proven ability to work effectively with internal departments to ensure the smooth and successful execution of events.
