Mike's Red Tacos is looking for a passionate, results-driven Assistant General Manager to help lead our Corporate Store & Training Center in Pasadena.

As an Assistant General Manager, you'll partner with the General Manager to drive restaurant performance, develop team members, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and ensure operational excellence every day. This role is ideal for leaders who are ready to grow their management skills while helping build one of the fastest-growing brands in the industry.

As part of our Corporate Store & Training Center, you'll help set the standard for the entire system by maintaining a "training-ready" environment that supports both guests and future restaurant teams.

What started as a single food truck has grown into one of the most exciting emerging brands in the restaurant industry. •  Support the General Manager in leading daily restaurant operations

• Execute and reinforce brand standards across all shifts

• Monitor guest feedback and drive exceptional guest experiences
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and "training-ready" restaurant environment
  
• Partner with the Training Team to ensure alignment between training and restaurant execution
  
• Assume full operational leadership in the absence of the General Manager
  

✔ 2–4+ years of restaurant leadership experience in a fast-paced environment

✔ Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, and guest service

✔ Experience leading shifts, coaching teams, and driving accountability

✔ Working knowledge of labor management, food cost, and restaurant profitability

✔ Strong communication and leadership skills

✔ Ability to develop people and build high-performing teams

✔ Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

✔ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment

✔ Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required

✔ High school diploma required; AA or BA degree preferred
