What We’re Looking For:
We’re searching for a driven, passionate Grill Chef to join the flames at Pasture Restaurant – where bold cooking, premium local produce, and high-octane service come together to create something truly unforgettable. This isn’t your average kitchen. At Pasture, we work with world-class meat from handpicked local farms, prepped by our in-house butchers and cooked over live fire. It’s fast, it’s intense, and it’s full of flavour – and we need someone who can handle the heat. As a Grill Chef, you’ll be centre-stage on the grill, turning out stunning plates with serious precision and pride. You’ll need confidence under pressure, sharp skills, and a relentless passion for delivering exceptional food service after service. Charcoal experience is a huge plus – but if you’ve got the fire and the hunger to learn, we’ll help you build the rest.
What you will bring:
2+ years’ experience as a Demi Chef de Partie, Chef de Partie, or similar
Solid experience with fresh, high-quality ingredients
Previous work on charcoal or wood-fired grills is a big advantage
Calm, focused and fast in high-energy service environments
A strong team player with a growth mindset and pride in your work
