Be Part of the Original — Join the Team at Pasture Bristol
Pasture Bristol is where it all began. The birthplace of Fire, Meat, Music and the beating heart of everything we stand for. With its character-rich setting, flagstone floors, sweeping staircase, and open kitchen filled with the sizzle of live-fire cooking, this is more than just a restaurant — it’s a celebration of craft, quality, and connection.
From day one, we've stayed true to our roots. We source only the very best suckled native beef from farms across the southwest, all grass-fed and raised with care. Our in-house butchers dry-age every cut for a minimum of 35 days and prepare each steak fresh for service. It’s a level of detail that shows in every dish and defines who we are.
Behind the food is a passionate, tight-knit team, warm, welcoming, and dedicated to delivering unforgettable dining experiences night after night.
Whether you're stepping into the kitchen, joining the front-of-house, or leading service from the floor, Pasture Bristol offers the chance to be part of something truly special — the original flame that started it all.
We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house team in delivering an exceptional dining experience. This role is all about energy, theatre, and attention to detail, ensuring the restaurant is always set for a flawless, show-stopping service.
You’ll bring a deep knowledge of the menu and drinks offering, exceptional communication skills, and a natural ability to lead and inspire others. From busy evenings on the floor to daily team briefings and training, you’ll set the tone and pace of the restaurant, leading by example and keeping both guests and staff engaged, happy, and motivated.
What You'll Be Doing:
As Restaurant Manager, you’ll be the face of the floor, managing day-to-day operations, leading service with confidence, and ensuring every guest receives a warm, personal, and professional experience. You'll consistently deliver on high standards of hospitality, balancing strong operational knowledge with the creative flair that sets the mood and energy in the room.
Working closely with the Head Chef and senior team on service, you’ll contribute to ongoing training and development, drive service standards, and play a key role in hiring, onboarding, and performance management. Your eye for detail will ensure the restaurant is always immaculate and service-ready, from lights and music to table settings and staff presence.
Behind the scenes, you'll also manage essential admin tasks including rota planning, supplier orders, banking, stock control, and health & safety compliance.
About You:
At least 2 years of experience in a similar leadership role in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant
A strong communicator who brings enthusiasm, clarity, and direction to the team
Confident leading a busy service and creating an engaging, theatrical dining environment
Deep understanding of premium food and drink, with a passion for menu knowledge and guest education
Proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused with excellent attention to detail
Genuinely passionate about people, hospitality, and team development
Reliable, consistent, and ready to lead by example every single day
Working knowledge of HACCP and Health & Safety standards, with strong admin and organisational skills
Benefits at Pasture:
In a nutshell Pasture is about fine dining for everyone, with slick, engaging service, top-quality food and a team whose knowledge is as strong as it's passion.
