Reservation Manager

Salary: £32,000 base + £13,000–£13,500 in Tronc (on average)

This role offers a base salary of £32,000, plus a competitive share of Tronc. 100% of Tronc is distributed directly to staff, averaging a total potential earnings of over £45,500 annually.
Be Part of the Original — Join the Team at Pasture Bristol

Pasture Bristol is where it all began. The birthplace of Fire, Meat, Music and the beating heart of everything we stand for. With its character-rich setting, flagstone floors, sweeping staircase, and open kitchen filled with the sizzle of live-fire cooking, this is more than just a restaurant — it’s a celebration of craft, quality, and connection.

From day one, we've stayed true to our roots. We source only the very best suckled native beef from farms across the southwest, all grass-fed and raised with care. Our in-house butchers dry-age every cut for a minimum of 35 days and prepare each steak fresh for service. It’s a level of detail that shows in every dish and defines who we are.

Behind the food is a passionate, tight-knit team, warm, welcoming, and dedicated to delivering unforgettable dining experiences night after night.

Whether you're stepping into the kitchen, joining the front-of-house, or leading service from the floor, Pasture Bristol offers the chance to be part of something truly special — the original flame that started it all.

We are looking for a new reservations manager to join our team at Pasture.

We work in a fast-paced and energetic atmosphere, serving the finest local produce and offering dedicated, genuine service. We are proud of what we do, the values we hold and the experience we offer. Customers vary from casual lunches, long business meetings or dining with friends and loved ones for special occasions.

Role and responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Reservations Manager to join our team, someone who understands that reservations are the start of the guest journey and a key driver of revenue. This hybrid role blends warm front-of-house presence with strong operational and administrative skills. You will take ownership of our bookings, waitlists and reservation systems (experience with SevenRooms or similar is essential), ensuring we maximise covers through smart, strategic management.

From first enquiry to on-the-day experience, you’ll deliver a seamless guest journey, maintaining accurate records for VIPs, allergies and special requests. You will also work closely with our Senior Reservations Manager and marketing team to generate ideas that grow bookings, driving sales not only for core dining, but also for collaborations, special events, weddings and corporate bookings.

Alongside this, you’ll support team organisation, contribute to training where needed, and confidently manage private events and guest requests with professionalism, flexibility and genuine warmth.

You:

  • Have previous experience in reservations management, guest services, or a similar role in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Are confident both front-of-house and behind a desk, balancing admin tasks with guest interaction.
  • Approach every guest interaction with genuine hospitality and attention to detail.
  • Are organised, proactive, and enjoy planning and coordinating events.
  • Bring a sales perspective, spotting opportunities to enhance covers, upsells, and guest experiences.
  • Live and breathe Pasture’s values and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Benefits at Pasture:

  • The hourly rate shown includes a competitive share of Tronc: 100% of Tronc is distributed to the staff.
  • 28 days holiday - including bank holidays
  • 20% off food and drink in our restaurants for up to six people
  • Opportunity for growth and progression
  • Long service benefits
  • 1 day of paid volunteering per year, with a charity of your choice
  • Regular staff trips are arranged to our farm and to our suppliers
  • Employee assistance program provided by Hospitality Action
  • Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Pay
  • Wagestream
  • Company events and parties

If you’re passionate about hospitality, love creating memorable experiences, and are looking for a role that’s equal parts admin, operations, and guest-facing, we’d love to hear from you!
