Pay: Hourly rate £12.40 + £4–£5 per hour in Tronc (on average)

At Pasture, we’re looking for a passionate, energetic bartender to bring great vibes, expert pours, and top-notch service to our bar. If you love crafting killer cocktails, homemade cordials, and thick, indulgent milkshakes to go with our amazing burgers at Prime, this is the perfect role for you!

Pasture Cardiff is our bold second chapter — a true lockdown baby that’s grown into one of the city’s most vibrant dining destinations. Nestled in the heart of Cardiff, just steps from the iconic Cardiff Castle, the restaurant is built for theatre, energy, and unforgettable nights.

Our open kitchen puts live-fire cooking at the heart of the experience, with charcoal grills and dry-ageing cabinets on full display. On weekends, our resident DJ keeps the energy high late into the evening — because at Pasture, dining is a show, not just a meal.

We proudly source our beef from pasture-raised cattle across Wales and the South West, working closely with local farmers and producers to bring the best of the region to the table. Our beautiful terrace in the city centre adds a unique alfresco edge — perfect for cocktails, people-watching, and those long summer nights.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Crafting exceptional drinks, cocktails, homemade cordials, milkshakes and coffee.

Providing a next-level guest experience, serving guests at the table, friendly, knowledgeable & engaging, helping guests find their perfect drink. Working in a team to prepare and serve drinks, while keeping the bar running smoothly, with great organisation, a stocked bar, and a sparkling clean environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience behind a busy bar, prep, mixing, garnishing & serving drinks like a pro

• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude

• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

• A love for great food & drink – especially when paired with the perfect Pasture steak!

• Strong attention to detail – keeping things clean, stocked & running smoothly

• The hourly rate shown includes a competitive share of Tronc: 100% of Tronc is distributed to the staff, usually giving approx. £4-£5 per hour on top of the standard rate of pay
