Bartender – Shake, Stir & Serve with Style!
Pay: Hourly rate £12.90 + £3.8–£4 per hour in Tronc (on average)
| In addition to your standard hourly wage, you'll receive a share of Tronc, of which 100% is distributed to the team Pasture Cardiff is our bold second chapter — a true lockdown baby that’s grown into one of the city’s most vibrant dining destinations. Nestled in the heart of Cardiff, just steps from the iconic Cardiff Castle, the restaurant is built for theatre, energy, and unforgettable nights. Our open kitchen puts live-fire cooking at the heart of the experience, with charcoal grills and dry-ageing cabinets on full display. On weekends, our resident DJ keeps the energy high late into the evening — because at Pasture, dining is a show, not just a meal. We proudly source our beef from pasture-raised cattle across Wales and the South West, working closely with local farmers and producers to bring the best of the region to the table. Our beautiful terrace in the city centre adds a unique alfresco edge — perfect for cocktails, people-watching, and those long summer nights. At Pasture, we’re searching for a skilled and passionate bartender to bring energy, precision, and hospitality to our bar team. Our focus is on exquisite cocktails, refined techniques, and rare, iconic wines that elevate the dining experience. If you take pride in your craft and thrive in a fast-paced, high-end environment, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a bartender at Pasture, you’ll be crafting exceptional cocktails, house cordials, and classic serves with both consistency and creativity, while guiding guests through our extensive drinks list and helping them discover the perfect pairing for their meal. You’ll deliver warm, knowledgeable, and professional service whether at the bar or tableside, and play a key role in keeping the bar running seamlessly, from preparation and organisation to maintaining a spotless, well-stocked environment. Training will be provided to set you up for success, and you’ll take part in regular spec tests to ensure our standards of excellence are always maintained.
