Server - Open Fire Cuisine & Table Service
The Server delivers an engaging and knowledgeable dining experience, acting as the main point of contact for guests. This role requires expertise in the unique characteristics of open-fire cooking and seamless service delivery across both indoor and patio environments.
Key Responsibilities:
· Menu Mastery: Develop comprehensive knowledge of all food and beverage offerings, with a special emphasis on open-fire cooking methods and daily-featured proteins/cuts.
· Guest Guidance: Clearly and enthusiastically describe the nuances of the open-fire menu, guiding guests through preparation styles, ingredients, and potential allergens.
· Service Excellence: Provide attentive, professional, and personalized Southern service to all guests in assigned sections, including coordinating timing between the kitchen and the patio area.
· Beverage Coordination: Accurately input food and drink orders, including drinks dispensed through the self-pour tap system (if applicable to the table), ensuring prompt delivery.
· Side Work: Complete all opening, running, and closing side work, including setting up and breaking down the patio section.
· Side Work & Teamwork: Complete all opening, running, and closing side work to meticulous standards, including setting up and breaking down the patio section, and actively supporting teammates.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Minimum of 2 years of serving experience, preferably in a full-service restaurant.
· Ability to demonstrate salesmanship and making informed menu recommendations.
· Exceptional attention to detail for order accuracy.
· Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
· A positive attitude and dedication to genuine Southern hospitality.
