Description
At the Pelt Trader we have over ten beers on tap from some of the best breweries in the UK and abroad. Our home made pizza is legendary.
Our business is built on the team we create and we pride ourselves on being able to create the perfect atmosphere for every customer that walks in.
We are looking for a bright, hardworking and reliable Manager to oversee the day to day running of the pub. You will be:
- interacting with customers
- assessing bar customers' needs and preferences and making recommendations
- ordering and monitoring stock - ensure minimal wastage of stock through rotation and storage
- receiving and checking deliveries, storing documentation appropriately
- managing staff including organising and adjusting staff rotas
- leading on all staff training
- performance manage and set objectives/incentives for bar staff
- completing open and closing checks, checking cash ups
- cellar management
- maintaining cleanliness and hygiene to a five star standard
- implement relevant legislation regarding service of alcohol
- promote and practice compliance with fire, health, food and drinks safety and hygiene standards and regulations.
We are looking for people with:
- previous experience in a fast paced working environment
- passion for customer service and teamwork
- interest in keg and cask beer, real ale and cider
- personality
- complete competence in running shifts & leading a team
