We are looking for an energetic, professional and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our team.
The Restaurant Manager will be in charge of daily operations for the front of the house (FOH). This position reports to the General Manager and performs the following duties:
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for all FOH functions on an opening, mid or closing shift
-Supervision of all FOH staff and staffing levels
-Hires, schedules and administers disciplinary warnings for FOH staff
-Develop results-oriented staff through effective training, evaluation, motivation, coaching and counseling
-Attends to any unexpected problems or emergencies that may arise
-Handle disgruntled customers by offering suggestions and solutions, while maintaining constant professionalism
-Control seating at peak times
Requirements:
-At least 2 years successful restaurant experience
-NYC Food Handlers Permit and TIPS certification
-Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
-Proved leadership capabilities
-Excellent communication and decision-making skills
-Excellent food and beverage knowledge
-A real dedication to exceptional guest service
-Thorough understanding of and a commitment to food safety standards and local health codes
-Self-motivated and high energy level
Compensation:
