    What do we want?

    We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Staff Accommodation Cleaning Operative to help maintain our team accommodation to a consistently high standard. This role is about more than cleaning — it’s about creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where our team can relax and feel at home.

    You will care for bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and shared living spaces, ensuring they are clean, tidy, and well-presented. We are looking for someone who can work independently, manage their daily tasks confidently, and take genuine pride in the spaces they look after.

    This is a permanent, part time (8 hour) contract, working two days per week.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Clean and maintain shared kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, and shower facilities
    • Keep corridors, stairways, and communal areas clean and presentable
    • Support with bedroom changeover cleaning when required
    • Empty bins and manage waste and recycling appropriately
    • Monitor cleaning stock levels and report when supplies need replenishing
    • Identify and report maintenance issues promptly
    • Follow cleaning schedules to maintain excellent accommodation standards
    • Ensure all accommodation areas remain safe, hygienic, and welcoming for staff

    Qualifications:

    • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential
    • Full training will be provided for the right candidate
    • A positive attitude and willingness to take a hands-on approach
    • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
    • Understanding of basic health and safety within a cleaning environment
