We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to lead and mentor the kitchen brigade of The Petersham Restaurant at Petersham Nurseries, Covent Garden. Petersham Nurseries has a Slow Food ethos and sources the finest ingredients, our family farm supplies the best organic meat, seasonal vegetables and delicious fruits straight from the farm to our kitchens.
The Sous Chef will contribute of all aspects of the kitchen operations and the development of seasonal menus working alongside the Head Chef, whilst working closely with the Front of House team to ensure exceptional training, food knowledge and guest satisfaction.
The ideal candidate must have proven track record of the following skills:
- Health and Safety Management (Minimum level 2 in food safety or above)
-Stock Management knowledge (ordering, stock counting, invoice recording)
-Menu Costing (training junior level)
