JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Marketing and Digital Strategy Intern
Department: Revenue Growth / Brand
Reports To: Director of Marketing and Product Strategy
Status: 1099
Location: Multi-site (New York City-based preferred)
Overview:
The Marketing and Digital Strategy Intern is responsible for assisting the Director of Marketing & Product Strategy (DOM) to drive guest traffic, increase revenue, and achieve all other marketing goals across all Pickle Hospitality Group (PHG) locations. This strategic role is for someone who can easily take creative ideas and turn them into digital assets and other brand collateral that supports the overall campaign vision. Strong experience in social media content creation and management will be vital to the success of this role.
This role will have the opportunity to become immersed in the highly evolving and exciting brands under the PHG umbrella (Jacob’s Pickles, Maison Pickle, Tiki Chick). Gain experience and make an impact within the Marketing and Hospitality industry! If you’re a quick thinker who enjoys working on multiple projects at once, we would love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with DOM to ensure high demand for business and “buzz” at all locations
• Meet at least once a week with DOM to discuss current strategies and initiatives
• Coordinate and assist with scheduling meetings
• Design and edit print and digital marketing collateral to be used across a variety of platforms
• Conceptualize, pitch, and execute social media strategies which align with the current marketing goals
• Assist the DOM in asset organization across Google Drive, Dropbox, Indesign, Canva etc
• Be present and active during any content creation (on site photography, videography etc)
• Participate in the planning and participation of all off site events as a representative of PHG
