A new dining destination has opened within the iconic Olympia London, and we are seeking a talented Pastry Demi Chef de Partie to join the team.
Set within the beautiful Grade II* listed Pillar Hall, Idalia offers an all-day dining experience, celebrating exceptional British produce from breakfast through to evening service. On selected evenings, guests can enjoy a lively atmosphere enhanced by soul and jazz performances.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a brand-new opening, help shape the kitchen culture, and grow within an ambitious and expanding hospitality group, D3 Collective.
The Role
As Pastry Demi Chef de Partie, you will support the pastry team in delivering high-quality desserts and baked goods, ensuring consistency, creativity, and attention to detail at every stage.
You will play an important role in maintaining smooth kitchen operations, working collaboratively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams to create an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Take ownership of the preparation and presentation of desserts, pastries, and baked goods within your section
· Consistently deliver high standards of quality, flavour, and presentation across all dishes
· Lead the day-to-day running of the pastry section during service, ensuring efficiency and organisation
· Oversee service across all periods, including breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner
· Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety, ensuring compliance at all times
· Manage stock levels within the section, placing orders and ensuring correct storage and rotation of ingredients
· Ensure all recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications are followed accurately by the team
· Support, guide, and mentor junior team members, fostering a positive and productive working environment
· Communicate clearly and effectively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service
· Take a proactive, hands-on approach during busy periods, leading by example

· A genuine passion for pastry and attention to detail
· Confidence in both classic and modern pastry techniques
· A positive team player with strong communication skills
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
· A proactive, motivated, and reliable approach
· Eligibility to work in the UK
What We Offer
· Up to £17 per hour
· Full-time role (40 hours per week)
· 28–30 days holiday, increasing with service
