Olympia London | Opening March 2026
Big news: D3 is expanding, and we’re opening our second venue in the iconic Olympia London. This is a rare opportunity to join an opening team, build a brand-new bakery operation from the ground up, and put your stamp on something special from day one.
We’re looking for an experienced, passionate Breakfast Baker - Chef de Partie who loves early starts, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and takes real pride in producing exceptional bread and viennoiserie from scratch. You’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding morning service, with all bread and pastries made fresh onsite daily.
Full Time – 40 hour contract – paying up to £17.50 per hour (House/Tronc)
Working mornings – 5:00am / 6:00am start
Brand-new venue in one of London’s most iconic locations
Be part of the opening bakery team – real input, real impact
High-energy, supportive kitchen culture
Opportunity to work closely with the Executive Pastry Chef
Genuine growth opportunities as D3 continues to expand
Producing all breads from scratch daily (sourdough, enriched doughs, focaccia, brioche, etc.)
Preparing and baking a full range of viennoiserie (croissants, pain au chocolat, Danish pastries, laminated doughs)
Mixing, shaping, proving, and baking to the highest standards of consistency and quality
Managing early morning bake-off to ensure breakfast service is fully stocked and presented beautifully
Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and organisation standards
Supporting ordering, stock rotation, and minimising waste
Working collaboratively with the pastry and wider kitchen team
Proven experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef with strong bread and viennoiserie skills
Confidence in laminated dough production and fermentation processes
A genuine passion for artisan baking and breakfast service
Strong attention to detail and pride in consistency and presentation
Ability to work efficiently during early morning shifts (5am/6am starts)
A positive, proactive, can-do attitude
A true team player who supports the Executive Pastry Chef and colleagues
Knowledge of food safety & hygiene standards
Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
Legal right to work in the UK
If you’re a skilled baker who loves the rhythm of early mornings, the smell of fresh bread, and the excitement of launching a brand-new London venue — and you want more than “just another job” — we’d love to hear from you.
