Barback  –  New Opening at Kensington Olympia London

D3 Collective have just launched our second venue at the iconic Olympia London and we’re looking for experienced, energetic Barbakcs to help bring it to life.

Located in the stunning Grade II* listed Pillar Hall, Idalia will serve guests from breakfast through to evening dining, with a menu focused on exceptional British produce. On select evenings, the space will come alive with soul and jazz, creating a vibrant and memorable guest experience.

This is a rare opportunity to join a brand-new opening, shape the service culture, and grow with a fast-expanding business.

What you’ll be doing

As a Barback at Pillar Hall, you’ll play a key role in supporting the bar team and ensuring exceptional service standards are delivered at all times. You’ll support the bartenders and create seamless and memorable guest experience.

You’ll  be passionate, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering outstanding hospitality.

·       Up to £15.21 per hour

·       Full-time hours (40 hours per week)

·       28–30 days holiday (increasing with service)

What We’re Looking For

·       1+ year of experience in a Barback role, ideally within a large or multi-bar venues

·       Knowledge of cocktails, spirits.

·       Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.

·       Creative, innovative, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

·       Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

·       Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

·       Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume environments

·       Have legal rights to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Support bartenders by ensuring they have everything needed to operate efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area at all times
• Restock spirits, beers, wines, glassware, garnishes, and bar supplies throughout shifts
• Assist with the preparation of bar ingredients such as fruit, mixers, and ice
• Clear and collect used glassware promptly to keep the bar and service areas tidy
• Ensure all bar equipment is clean, polished, and ready for use
• Help with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the bar
• Communicate effectively with bartenders and front-of-house staff to support smooth service
• Monitor stock levels and notify senior staff when replenishment is needed
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards behind the bar
• Provide basic guest assistance when needed, maintaining a friendly and professional attitude
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, supporting the team during busy periods
