Assistant Restaurant Manager – New Opening at Kensington Olympia London

D3 Collective have just launched our second venue at the iconic Olympia London and we’re looking for an experienced, energetic Assistant Restaurant Manager to help bring it to life.

Located in the stunning Grade II* listed Pillar Hall, Idalia will serve guests from breakfast through to evening dining, with a menu focused on exceptional British produce. On select evenings, the space will come alive with soul and jazz, creating a vibrant and memorable guest experience.

This is a rare opportunity to join a brand-new opening, shape the service culture, and grow with a fast-expanding business.

What you’ll be doing

We are seeking a dedicated and driven Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role is ideal for a strong leader who is looking to grow their career within a high-end hospitality environment.

What we offer

  • Up to £18 per hour
  • Full-time hours (40 hours per week)
  • 28–30 days holiday (increasing with service)

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2 years+ previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within hospitality
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and workplace health standards
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest service

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations
  • Supervise and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house teams
  • Ensure consistently high standards of customer service and food quality
  • Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Help manage inventory, stock control, and ordering
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Contribute to building a positive and high-performing team culture
