Some event-focused positions may require late-night or overnight shifts, depending on the event schedule and preparation requirements. Specific working patterns, responsibilities and shift requirements will be discussed in detail during the interview.

  • Maintain excellent standards of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness and organisation at all times.
  • Monitor stock levels, minimise waste and ensure correct storage and rotation of ingredients.
  • Support and guide junior members of the kitchen team when required.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues across different kitchen sections and the wider operational team.
  • Take a proactive, hands-on approach and remain calm and organised during busy service and production periods.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a quality restaurant, hotel, events or hospitality environment.
  • A genuine passion for producing high-quality food.
  • Strong culinary skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to support colleagues and work closely with the senior kitchen team.
  • Experience in high-volume event preparation or production would be an advantage for our event-focused positions.
  • High standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours depending on the position.
  • For some event-focused roles, availability to work late-night and overnight shifts may be required.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK.

The Role

  • £16.50 per hour.
  • 40-hour contract.
  • Monday to Sunday operation.
  • A variety of Chef de Partie positions are available across restaurant service and event preparation/production.
  • Working patterns will vary depending on the position and business requirements.
  • Late-night or overnight shifts may be required for some event-focused roles.
  • Full details regarding the position, preferred working pattern and shift requirements will be discussed during the interview.

What We Offer

  • Opportunities for career growth, with internal training and succession plans supporting progression within the business.
