A plan was hatched, why don't we fly to the toe-end of Italy, pick up a three-wheel Piaggio Ape van (max speed 30mph) and drive the 4,500km back to London? Along the way we could stop off at all the top pizza destinations, learning from the masters. This is exactly what James & Thom (the PP founders) did. Once back, a market stall was set up and pizza was fed to the locals of Soho.
The first Pizzeria we opened was in 2012, we now have 9 pizzerias across London and 1 in Oxford and our very first counter service kiosk (which is where you come in!). We have plans for growth, but it is a slow and steady approach.

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join the team in our new Pizza Pilgrims counter service concept in Westfield, Shepherds Bush. While it might be a different style of service for Pizza Pilgrims, we still want to ensure that everyone that visits us receives that Pizza Pilgrims experience and as part of the management team you will play a key role in how we develop this new style concept to be a success.

Why you do what you do
As an Assistant Manager of Pizza Pilgrims your role is to support the General Manager and Head Chef to manage a great Pizzeria, leading and coaching your team to deliver results. You will maintain great standards, while always supporting and training your team to ensure that our Pizzas, drinks and service is always top notch!

You will have the experience needed to hit the ground running, a natural developing your teams, controlling the costs, creating the one team one dream we are so proud of within each of our Pizzerias. Your standards will always be high, whether it's service, to H&S, to the food your team serves, we are always only going to be as good as that last pizza! Most importantly, you will do all of the above by being yourself!
