Gig Delivery Driver

The Gig Delivery Driver checks all products for accuracy against quality standards and delivers products to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner while working as part of a team. No scheduled work, pick up suitable 3-hour delivery shifts using our mobile app. Comply with Papa John’s uniform, appearance, and operations standards as defined in the Operations Manual, PIZZAcademy, Team Member Handbook, and with federal, state, and local laws and ordinances.

Gig Work Flexibility

The Gig Delivery Driver does not have weekly scheduled shifts. Gig Delivery Drivers use a mobile app to see short delivery shifts at nearby locations and pick those they like. Each opportunity shows the estimated earning potential for that shift, the duration of the shift along with the location. Opportunities on busy days and peak times will have extra cash bonuses.

Responsibilities

Perform duties including pre-delivery vehicle preparation, learning the delivery area, checking orders for quality and accuracy, following proper delivery procedures, providing quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers, and acting with a sense of urgency. Contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun.

Accurately process order paperwork and payment transactions using proper cash management procedures. Protect the company’s assets by maintaining organized, safe, and clean work areas, and always comply with safety and security standards.

Key Ingredients

A High School diploma or GED is preferred.

Must be at least 18 years old or older with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience

Must have a driver’s license valid under the laws of the state(s) where the team member works, proof of insurance, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to drive
