Closing Shift General Manager

Location: East Hollywood, Vermont ave x Marathon st. 

Pay Range: $22.00-$24.00

Hours for this position range from 2:00pm-2:00am

Qualifications:

  • Restaurant management experience: Ideally in a pizza or fast-casual restaurant.
  • Strong leadership skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Customer service expertise: Committed to delivering exceptional customer service experience.
  • Food safety certification: Certified in ServSafe or equivalent food handling safety standards.
  • Inventory and cost control: Experience managing food/labor costs, inventory ordering, and minimizing waste.
  • Scheduling and staffing: Skilled at creating fair, efficient staff schedules and managing performance.
  • Cash handling and financial reporting: Basic understanding of daily sales reconciliation, deposits, and reporting.
  • Hiring and training: Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and training team members.
  • Compliance knowledge: Understanding of local health codes, labor laws, and OSHA standards.
  • Strong communicator: Clear and confident communicator with staff and customers.
  • Problem-solver: Can stay calm under pressure and make quick decisions.
  • Team player: Works well with owners, employees, and vendors.
  • Customer-focused mindset: Puts the guest experience first.
  • Detail-oriented: Pays attention to cleanliness, food quality, and consistency.
  • Adaptable and flexible: Can handle change and unexpected challenges smoothly.
  • Passionate about food: Especially about pizza!

Key Ingredients:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred
  • Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred
