Description
JOB DUTIES

  • Excellent communicator in both written and verbal.
  • Able to provide superior customer service at all times and work through guest concerns in an efficient manner.
  • Responsible for entering, checking, and monitoring all reservation transactions.
  • Check reservation transaction register to ensure accurate arrival lists are available to Front Desk team.
  • Well versed in all hotel policies and information to be able to answer guest and potential guest inquiries.
  • Answer phone calls and be able to enter bookings via phone.
  • Maintain accurate and organized reservation files.
  • Review and monitor hotel availability to ensure booking levels are in compliance with hotel goals.
  • Answer emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in reconciling and processing commissions payments to various agents and companies.
  • Manage VIP booking accounts to ensure they always receive excellent customer service.
  • Refer all potential group bookings to our Reservations Manager and ensure all information is accurately transferred.
  • Candidates should be able to work a variety of shifts, AM and PM, five days per week.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members.
  • Read, write, speak English fluently. Second language a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel is a plus.
  • Ability to learn and work with new computer programs and PMS/Reservation software.
  • Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
