Pod Cafe is transforming into a fresh, modern beachside café, serving great coffee and creative, Aussie-inspired brunch.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, experienced FOH & Barista team member to join us as we embark on this exciting new chapter.

THE ROLE

You’ll be responsible for delivering great customer service, making consistently excellent coffee and helping keep service running smoothly. Working closely with the kitchen and FOH team, you’ll welcome customers, take orders, serve food and drinks, and maintain high standards throughout the cafe. The shifts will be predominantly day time at the moment but moving forward there will be evenings. Must be available at least one weekend day per week.

Food preparation experience is a bonus, with opportunities to support the kitchen when needed.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

● Barista experience: Confident using a coffee machine and producing quality coffee.

● FOH experience: Comfortable taking orders, serving customers and running food.

● Great attitude: Friendly, welcoming and passionate about hospitality.

● Team player: Reliable, proactive and happy to muck in wherever needed.

● Cool under pressure: Organised and calm during busy service.

● Food preparation: Experience is a bonus, but a willingness to learn is essential.
