Description

We’re in the business of leisure and hospitality and believe that pleasure is something to be taken seriously. We have a great time delivering phenomenal nights out that include unrivalled private room karaoke, delicious drinks, and tasty food. At Lucky Voice, we’re constantly thinking about how to give people their favourite night out.

So, we’re looking to hire a confident, enthusiastic and ambitious Business Development Manager to drive bookings and events to our portfolio of venues, focusing mainly on B2B. You'll be joining the team at a truly exciting time as we consolidate our estate across six locations in the UK, so this is a great opportunity for someone who is highly motivated by sales to have a significant impact on the organisation and become a key member of the team.

Working alongside the Head of Sales and the Central Sales Team, your role will include developing and implementing a pre-booked sales strategy in line with the venues’ needs and requirements,  whilst also developing a strategy that considers the seasonal nature of our business and the location of our sites. The role will be focused on, and incentivised to target, proactive sales to build a new market for what is a high-profile, thriving F&B business with singing at its heart.

This is a true Business Development role and whilst a small amount of account management is expected, you will need to be a strong sales professional with the will to go out and network with potential new clients and bring in new business opportunities.

What will you be doing at Lucky Voice:

  • Driving B2B and B2C pre-booked business to Lucky Voice venues

  • Identifying key customers and contacts to build relationships with, targeting prospective new clients

  • Generating repeat and new business via, but not limited to, networking events, venue show arounds, FAM trips, showcases, external appointments,  warm and cold calling and trade shows

  • Achieving a set of targeted monthly KPIs (including appointments, FAM activity, site visits, partnership offers)

  • Developing and implementing a Sales outreach strategy

  • Creating a base of regular corporate customers using your existing networks

  • Sourcing and securing corporate and MICE bookings

  • Establishing a network of local businesses and partners

  • Working closely with the Central Sales and venue Ops teams to maximise revenue and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Building new agency and third party relationships in a sustainable, profitable way

We'd be delighted if you have:

  • Amazing communication skills

  • Proven track record as a BDM or in a senior Sales role

  • Proven career success and a solid reputation in the industry

  • 2+ years sales experience in a corporate-focused hospitality or leisure venue in London

  • An already established B2B network

  • Good knowledge and understanding of the market and local areas.

  • A passion for building relationships

  • Experience in booking and CRM platforms (we use Collins and Acteol)

  • A strong signature karaoke tune

We'd be delighted if you are:

  • A highly sales driven individual with an outgoing, bubbly and positive personality

  • Used to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Able to achieve and excel under pressure

  • Confident

  • Self-motivated

  • Ambitious

  • A person of integrity

What you'll get:

  • Salary: £40-£45k per annum depending on experience

  • Uncapped commission based on achieving and exceeding monthly targets and KPIs

  • A key role in the Lucky Voice team

  • You’ll be surrounded by a brilliant team of talented people, from all areas of business

  • A unique opportunity to grow and develop

  • Staff socials, monthly drinks and seasonal parties

  • Employee Assistance Program

  • Company perks such as free karaoke hire and discounted drinks in our bars

  • Cycle scheme

  • 25 days’ holiday + Bank Holidays

Place of work: Hybrid: a combination of working from our venues, our office in Soho and from home

Hours: 39h per week, mainly weekdays.  A flexible approach to working days and hours is required in order to attend appointments and events, this may include evenings and weekends
