At PopUp Bagels, we believe great hospitality starts long before the first guest walks through our doors. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Shop Custodian who takes pride in creating a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both our team and our guests.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, values consistency, and understands that cleanliness is one of the most important ingredients in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the entire shop throughout your shift.
• Wash dishes, sheet trays, racks, and kitchen equipment.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize all production and guest-facing areas.
• Clean and maintain restrooms throughout the day.
• Empty trash and recycling while keeping waste areas organized.
• Restock cleaning supplies and notify leadership when inventory is running low.
• Assist with opening and closing cleaning procedures.
• Support the production and front-of-house teams by maintaining a clean, efficient workspace.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
• Jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed.

• Reliable, punctual, and takes ownership of their work.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, restaurant, or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
