The Role: As Sous Chef, you'll play an integral leading role in our kitchen operations, working closely with our other Senior chefs and Head Chef to ensure the team are able to prepare unique dishes that delight our guests. You'll maintain our high standards of quality while fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
Your Responsibilities:
Assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen's daily operations.
Collaborating on the creation of innovative menus and culinary creations that align with our brand.
Ensuring adherence to kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
Supervising, training, and developing kitchen staff.
Managing food and supply inventory, ensuring effective cost controls and minimal waste.
Acting as Head Chef when Head Chef isn't on site.
Managing and approving shifts
Your Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Head Chef in a smaller operation or Sous Chef.
Excellent leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
A strong passion for culinary excellence and creative flair.
Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.
The ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure.
Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
