This role is field based and you will be supporting the South & East Region (in restaurants at least 3 days a week)

 

We are looking for a Human Resources Advisor to join our people team here at Prezzo and provide support to the HRBP in all areas of Human Resources. You will need to be highly visible out in the field, working proactively and commercially as an HR Generalist in the South & East Region.

You will be driving and supporting the capability through coaching the restaurant management teams on ER matters, absence management and performance management and support recruitment where required.  You will be the champion of all the people systems & processes, ensuring consistency and fairness in the application of all of these, supporting your HR Business Partner in executing key people and talent initiatives and ensuring the Family tree and Talent plans are always up to date.

 

Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for HR queries for restaurants
  • Work closely with the wider HR team across the business to monitor, review and update all policies in line with current legislation and best practice.
  • Provide an advisory service to employees ensuring that they are fully aware of their rights and entitlements.
  • Support restaurant management in managing staff relationships and promptly respond to queries and manage expectations.
  • Ensure Human Resources matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with legal and company requirements
  • Support the HRBP or Operations Managers with grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearings
  • Support recruitment initiatives within the Region
  • Provide monthly HR KPIs updates at Regional meetings.
  • Work in partnership with line managers on performance management, employee relations, resourcing and staff management/development using competency framework and capability procedures.
  • Deputising for the HRBP where required
  • Provide a key HR service to the business as a whole ensuring that high standards are adopted within all elements of HR including attendance management, employee relations, employee training, performance management.

  • Able to build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • CIPD or equivalent qualified
  • Experience of working remotely and in a field-based role
  • Knowledge, understanding and passion for the hospitality sector
