Hours: 30–40 hours per week
Working pattern: Wednesday to Sunday, with Monday and Tuesday off

Priory Wareham is looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-focused Housekeeper to join our established housekeeping team, looking after our beautiful bedrooms and guest areas.

This is an opportunity to become part of the team at Dorset’s only MICHELIN Key hotel, working within a privately owned, 17-bedroom luxury hotel set on the banks of the River Frome in Wareham.

Our bedrooms and suites are individually designed and spread across the historic main house and riverside Boathouse. We take great pride in the presentation of every room and are looking for someone who shares that attention to detail and understands the importance of creating an exceptional first impression for every guest.

• Cleaning and servicing guest bedrooms and suites to the hotel’s high standards.
• Making beds and changing bed linen to ensure rooms are beautifully presented.
• Thoroughly cleaning bathrooms, including baths, showers, sinks, mirrors and other fixtures.
• Replenishing toiletries, towels, refreshments and other guest amenities.
• Preparing bedrooms for arriving guests and ensuring every detail is checked before the room is released.
• Servicing occupied bedrooms while respecting guests’ belongings and privacy.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or missing items promptly.
• Ensuring housekeeping trolleys, linen cupboards and working areas are kept clean, organised and well stocked.
• Handling linen and hotel equipment carefully and responsibly.
• Working closely with the wider housekeeping and reception teams to ensure bedrooms are ready for guest arrivals.
• Supporting the cleaning and presentation of public areas when required.
• Following the hotel’s cleaning, hygiene and health and safety procedures at all times.

• Physically able to carry out housekeeping duties throughout a full shift.
• Available to work Wednesday to Sunday, including weekends.

Previous hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning experience would be beneficial, particularly within a luxury or high-quality hospitality environment, although full training can be provided to the right candidate.
