Prohibition is an Upper West Side Landmark and has been in the neighborhood for 27 years. Most recently we have taken our beloved establishment and given her an upgraded feel. We are now an awesome Supper Club with amazing food and top notch hospitality as well as a live music venue every night we are open serving customers a fantastic experience from dinner until the early morning hours. Prohibition is a close knit family style environment and we have tremendous experience in the hospitality industry. We are looking for a like minded and skilled individual to join our management family. We are looking for a candidate that can both thrive in steps of service in a true dinner atmosphere and then be able to switch gears to the fast paced turn and burn cocktail atmosphere during our music shows. You will get your hands in a mix of all aspects from culinary, to entertainment to guest service, as well as normal restaurant operations. We look forward to hearing from you. 5 years NYC restaurant management preferred. Some duties may include but are not limited to. .
  • Organize and run all managerial duties throughout the the restaurant
  • Ensure production run smoothly, solve problems under pressure, sanitize the plant daily to international health-code standards.
  • Work on POS registers.-Open/Close Store.- Lead employees in task procedures and guide them in helping customers.- Reconcile money at the end of the shift
  • Maintain dependability and punctuality without deficiencies and always in appropriate uniform attire at all times.
  • Provide leadership and guidance; analyze situations and implement solutions independently or through the management of others.
  • Administer performance management by diagnosing improvement opportunities, providing effective feedback, coaching, and corrective action plans.
  • Direct activities and train personnel for efficient operation of the restaurant and turnover of floor with optimum cleanliness and appearance.
  • Maintain safe conditions for staff and patrons throughout the evening
  • Use Problem Solving Skills daily for the best outcome
