We are funded and supported by Lamington Group who have over 60 years of experience and multiple properties across the UK. We work with hotels, and boutique properties, to streamline operations and enhance guest experiences. As we embark on an ambitious growth journey, we are looking for a driven and dynamic Business Development Executive to join our sales team. 

Role Overview 

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and closing deals. You will focus on building relationships with independent and boutique hotels to showcase the value of our AI-powered reception technology. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, LinkedIn outreach, and networking. 
  • Sales Outreach: Conduct targeted outreach via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to set up introductory meetings and product demonstrations. 
  • Product Demonstration: Deliver engaging virtual demos of our technology, highlighting key benefits and features tailored to each client's needs. 
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline using HubSpot CRM, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, activities, and deal progress. 
  • Pilot Programme Conversion: Assist in converting pilot programme participants into paying customers by demonstrating value and securing long-term contracts.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform sales strategies. 
  • Account Management: Provide exceptional customer support, fostering strong relationships with clients to drive retention and referrals. 
  • Event Participation: Represent the company at key industry events.

Key Qualifications & Skills 

  • Experience: In a sales or business development role, ideally within the hospitality, SaaS, or tech industry. 
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a consultative approach to selling. 
  • Drive & Ambition: Self-motivated and results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable with technology and able to learn and demonstrate AI-driven solutions effectively. 
  • CRM Knowledge: Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM tools to manage sales pipelines and track progress. 
  • Adaptability: Able to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment with changing priorities.
  • Hospitality Knowledge: A background in or knowledge of the hospitality industry is a strong plus.
