Description

We’re now looking for a skilled and proactive Fire Alarm Engineer to join our residential team. This role is based across multiple sites and is key to maintaining the safety and compliance of our residential buildings.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on fire alarm systems across multiple residential properties.

  • Ensure all fire detection systems and emergency lighting are fully operational and compliant with current regulations.

  • Respond to reactive call-outs and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and repairs.

  • Liaise with the Property and Facilities team to ensure consistent safety standards are met.

  • Support with fire drills, alarm testing, and related resident communications.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with fire alarm systems (preferably in a residential or multi-site environment).

  • Relevant electrical/fire alarm qualifications (e.g., FIA Units, 17th/18th Edition, or equivalent).

  • Knowledge of BS 5839 standards and other relevant fire safety regulations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Full UK driving licence preferred (but not essential).
