Delicious, fresh carveries, exceptional pub classics and tempting desserts, our pubs cater for all tastes and it’s our Head Chefs who ensure that every dish that leaves the pass is cooked to spec, looks fantastic and tastes great. As Head Chef, you own your kitchen. Recruiting, mentoring and inspiring your brigade to deliver exceptional food.

With a superb selection of 4 stunning pubs all located around the Stockport area, Almond Family Pubs is a special place to work. 100% family owned, we are a close-knit team of people who are passionate about working in great pubs and delivering incredible customer service. What we need from you…

  • Drive quality and value that ensures great guest restaurant experiences.
  • Ensure that all aspects of kitchen activity are co-ordinated to create a professional, safe, hygienic and cost-effective environment.
  • Establish and use clear lines of communication within the kitchen operations and with food service staff
  • Review wage cost and ensure staffing levels are at the appropriate levels to drive conversion
  • Adhere strictly to food hygiene regulations according to FRESH, HACCP and EHO directives
  • Comply with the Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures
  • A passion for cooking and delivering perfectly cooked, delicious dishes.
  • Able to cook to spec and an awareness of GP’s and budgets
  • Great communication, ability to work as part of a team and an appetite to grow and develop
  • Put our customers at the heart of everything you do
