About This Job
Working within the brand and marketing team, the Events & Brand Manager will have a range of responsibilities that require a strong grasp of what Qbic represents and the ways in which we can communicate this through every potential guest touch point.

The successful applicant will be responsible for building and executing the Qbic Brand Experience. Ensuring on-brand execution in all hotels, primarily via localised expression through effective creative development of communications and advertising as well as brand content, localised events and in-hotel collateral.

The very nature of this job requires you to be regularly visiting and spending time at all of our hotels, so expect a lot of travel.

Key Responsibilities Across all Hotels:
• Events Management: Creating, developing and managing a calendar of events at each of our locations that successfully embody the brand experience pillars, drive guest satisfaction and attract the local crowd
• Operations & Quality: Working closely with our properties to ensure on-brand implementation of brand operating standards, procedures, and brand operations-driven programmes.
• Brand strategy, planning & guidelines: Working with the creative and marketing team to create and manage the brand guidelines for head office and hotel. Constantly monitoring brand performance and develop appropriate actions with the relevant cross function teams to achieve objectives. Provide relevant and up-to-date brand collateral and guidelines to ensure effective sales communication and customer interaction are in line with brand strategy
• Marketing & Design: Working with our Revenue and digital teams to ensure customer facing offers and promotions are promoted and expired correctly at each of our locations.
• Look & Feel: You will be the brand eyes on the ground, responsible for making sure everything, from a poster in the lift, to the layout of the lounge and the music that’s playing meets brand standards.
• Social Media & Content Creation: Supporting the Digital Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer with material and ideas for social from a local level. You will also be required to contribute towards writing blog posts, articles, newsletter copy and social media material.


CANDIDATE PROFILE

The skills we are looking for are:
• Great Personality: Qbic stands for fun, curious and creative. We want our Brand Experience Manager to enjoy working in collaboration with a team and not be afraid to get stuck into whatever needs doing.
• Streetwise: You will be curious and interested in the cities we operate, with a nose for finding the cool stuff and making great partnerships
• Event Management: You will have successfully run small scale events in restaurant, bar and/or hotel environments, and understand the cross-lateral team work and communication required to make these successful
• Writing Skills: Brilliant written English is essential, tone of voice is key.
• Design & Photography: You will be big-ing us up, so an eye for design and photography is essential for effective on-brand communication and awesome Instagram worthy shots.
• Flexibility: This isn’t always strictly a 9-5, there will be travel and you will be required to be available for events during evenings and weekends. We will of course be flexible too.
• Previous Experience: You are likely to be degree qualified and this is your second or third role since university or have at least 3 years experience in a similar role.
• Other: Excellent time management and multitasking skills are essential, good under pressure, some PR experience would be great, and a knowledge or experience of the hotel and leisure industry would be nice but not essential.
