Citadines Holborn Covent Garden is looking for a qualified and motivated team player with a passion for supporting service excellence to join our team as Accounts Assistant.

You will report to the Residence Manager supporting towards providing our guests with unique experiences and offerings to Live, Work and Play in infinite ways. Designed for the love of cities, Citadines offer travellers the comfort of a serviced residence and the flexibility of a hotel.

As a Accounts Assistant you will:

  • Be responsible for all cash banking and reconciliation of this banking in line with policy and procedures
  • Reconcile credit card and direct transfer receipts against the property management system daily
  • Be responsible for reconciling all OTA invoices Monthly and submitting for payment
  • Reconcile and submit all agent commissions from ONIX and submitting for payment   
  • Receive and process purchase invoices, matching to PO’s where necessary 
  • Processe commission invoices from travel agents
  • Deal with supplier queries and discrepancies 
  • Liaise with heads of department and other staff to ensure PO’s are raised where needed  
  • Assist with the timely and effective collection of debts

The successful Accounts Assistant has:

  • At least two years’ experience in a similar bookkeeping role, ideally within the hotel sector 
  • Completed or studying for a bookkeeping qualification such as AAT or other equivalent qualification  
  • A self-motivating attitude to work autonomously yet have a team orientated mindset
  • Effective communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Proficient level of numerical, administrative and IT Skills
  • Experience with the Property Management System RMS is advantageous
