Responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste water disposal in the Hotel.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 1.                  To report punctually to duty and to be in proper department standard uniform.

2.                  To treat all customers and colleagues in a polite, courteous manner at all times. To also give full cooperation and assistance in a prompt, caring and helpful manner to both customer needs.

3.                  To be flexible in assisting in other departments of the hotel in response to the business and customer needs.

 

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

 Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems and components.

1. Review building plans and specification to determine the layout for plumbing and related material.
2. Identify required tools and special equipment.
3. Select the type of size of pipe required.
4. Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures.
5. Install supports and hinges for pipe, fixture and equipment.
6. Assemble and install valves and fittings.
7. Install, repair and maintain water treatment equipment piping and controls.
8. Install, repair and maintain underground storm sanitary and water piping systems.
9. Install, repair and maintain sinks, tubs and toilets. Install, repair and maintain water heater and conditioners.
10. Install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and appliances and trim.
11. Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks.
12. Perform scheduled maintenance service on plumbing systems and fixtures.
13. Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported and graded.
14. Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate standard.
15. Prepare orders of supplies.
16. Keep daily reports.
17. Attend the morning briefing at 8:45 am and 5:45 pm at the end of the day.
18. Schedule work in cooperation with associates and suppliers.
19. Perform other elated duties as required.
20. In case any emergency stays back to completed the task & assignments without fails.
