PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 ·         To report punctually to duty and to be in proper department standard uniform.

·         To treat all customers and colleagues in a polite, courteous manner at all times. To also give full cooperation and assistance in a prompt, caring and helpful manner to both customer needs.

·         To be flexible in assisting in other departments of the hotel in response to the business and customer needs.

  

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:

 ·         Assign the task to teams prepare it plan earlier.

·         Check the operation and maintenance requirement to meet.

·         Check the PPM Plan and assign the task to teams and follow up the check list.

·         Maintain the MEP plant room walk round daily bases need and clean.

·         Daily check the public area walks round if found any damages follow up with teams.

·         Daily check the monitor the all type of the check list

·         Coordinates painting & Polish works as necessary public areas & guest floors.

·         To have a clear understanding of the Hotel’s Fire Drill, the staff hand book, and all regulations stated therein.

·         To observe and enforce the Health, Safety and Hygiene regulations.

·         To have particular regard to the safe operation of all Plant and equipment and to safety of Guest and staff at all times.

·         To observe the regulations regarding Guest contact and entry to Guest rooms.

·         Daily check the kitchen & outlets if anything required to follow up with teams

·         To ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness to maintain in all areas and to liaise with other departments in this matter.

·         Attend to the daily assignment sheet given to you from CE

·         Attend to service request from the operation requirements to meet.

·         To attend the morning briefing at 8:45 am and 5:45 pm at the end of the day.

·         To follow up the training calendar skills to improve the team knowledge.

·         Follow up the grooming standards.

·         To attend the Engineering Department monthly meeting.

·         Check the property round daily bases incase found any major issue reported CE and follow up accordingly the requirements

·         Confine to your work area except meal time.

·         To carry out any other duties that may be assigned by your Chief Engineer

·         Check the pool conditions any requirement follow up with service provider

·         Check the departmental operation requirement order the materials keep maintain the minimum stock level

·         Daily enter the utility reports and check the meet our budget accordingly the consumption

·         Any request before implemented discuss with the chief engineer and reported.

·         Follow up with mandatory files and documentation.

·         Take the own institutive of the suitability and discuss with chief engineer.

·         Check the over all team performance and keep maintain the records

·         Check the property risk assessment point, FLS, BMS, GRMS, LCP, CBS systems are working good in order.

Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer:

-Experience in property maintenance beneficial but not essential
-Hands-on approach with a can-do work style
-Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
-Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned
-Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence
-Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms
-Strong communication skills
