·         College degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

·         Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English (Additional languages, especially Arabic is a Plus)

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, leveraging strong verbal and written skills to express Departmental Goals and Ultimately Produce desired results.

·         Organizational and Leadership skills

·         Time Management and Multi-Tasking skills to deliver a timely action, even under pressure.

·         A hands-on attitude, backed by Yes, I can! Spirit.

·         Strong negotiations skills

·         Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with Owning company, General Manager and Project Managers.

·         Familiar with the local government requirements and regulations

 Key Responsibilities  (but not limited to)

·         Provides and maintains high Standard of Property Maintenance, demonstrating both reactive and preventive knowledge.

·         Maintains the Building, Grounds and Plant Equipment with particular attention to Safety, Security and Asset protection

·         Develops and Implements Strategies to deliver services, that exceed the expectations of Guests and Stakeholders while maximizing financial performance.

·         Ensures all work follows Strict Adherence to Safe Work Practices and Procedures, prioritizing the well-being and security of all involved.

·         Leads the Emergency Response Team for all facility issues, demonstrating a remarkable ability to Perform Under Pressure.

·         Develops and manages the Engineering Budget, ensuring integration of Departmental Goals in daily plans.

·         Highlights areas of concern to the Leadership Team and takes ownership till the matter is resolved.

·         Manages the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, boilers and electrical systems and any other building services per hotel’s Standard Operating Procedures.

·         Demonstrates leadership in implementing Sustainability Initiatives with focus on guest experience

·         Takes responsibility for all work executed, by own or external contractors, on the building, plants or technical installations.
