Description

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

§  To be alert at all times and guard any area entrusted to their care

§  To inspect/ frisk all employees and check their belongings while entering or leaving the Hotel premises

§  To ensure that employees swipe/ punch their time cards while entering and leaving the hotel premises

§  To report any deviations to the supervisor immediately

§  To follow the key issue procedure while issuing keys to employees, and record the same as prescribed

§  To ensure that no visitor is permitted entry through the employee entrance without proper checking and a visitors pass

§  To ensure that no tangible item leaves the Hotel premises without a valid gate pass

§  To check all material entering the hotel through the receiving entrance and ensure proper check and record is maintained

§  To patrol the property as and when assigned to do so, by covering all areas with a vigilant eye.

§  To assist guests when entering or leaving the hotel

§  To handle guest queries and complaints in a polite and efficient manner

§  In case of a fire emergency, to follow the prescribed procedure in ensuring the safety of all guests, guest belongings and all Hotel employees

§  Similarly to follow prescribed procedures in handling other emergencies

§  To carry out any duties assigned by the Security Supervisor/ Security Officer

§  To adhere to strict grooming and hygiene standards

§  To consciously and continuously strive to better his/her skills and increase his/her knowledge

Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Yes I Can! experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of, genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations

§  Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service and experience

§  Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems

§  Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis

§  Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction

§  Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality

Adheres to hotel policies and procedures:

§  Attends work on time as scheduled

§  Follows hotel grooming and hygiene standards

§  Minimises safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures

§  Keeps immediate manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance

§  Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position

§  Maintains a favourable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote co-operative and harmonious working climate

§  At all time projects a favourable image of Brand to the public
