Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Rooms Division Manager:

• Achieves guest satisfaction and rooms revenue goals by supervising the Front
Office operation
• Achieves guest satisfaction and cost efficiency goals by supervising the
Housekeeping operation
• Oversees and participates in the prompt and courteous check in and check out of
guests
• Oversees and monitors the prompt and courteous cleaning and checking of guest
rooms and public areas
• Manage the development and implementation of guest service strategies to exceed
guests expectations and take care of guest complaints
• Utilises leadership skills and motivation to maximise team member productivity and
satisfaction

Requirements of Assistant Rooms Division Manager:

• Proficient in all Front Office and Housekeeping procedures
• A proven track record in a similar role within a quality environment
• Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate teams to exceed guest service
standards
• Commercially aware
• Clear thinker with excellent communication abilities
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to a range of different work situations
• In-depth working knowledge of Opera Property Management System

The hotel offers 252 guest rooms and suites in two designs: Naturally Cool and Golden Age. The hotel is fully accessible and facilities include a fitness room, sauna, digital reading material and a variety of concierge services.

Our guests can enjoy delicious, organic and local dishes at Restaurant De Palmboom. Or if they're looking to recharge with drinks and a light email after a day of sightseeing, they can take a seat in front of the fireplace at Pastorie Bar."
