Security Supervisor


Description
The Security Supervisor will assist the Security Manager in providing a safe and secure hotel environment by ensuring that every employee at every level is aware that safety and security is reliant on their everyday action. Maintaining sound security methods and procedures in line with hotel and corporate policies, guidelines, hotel’s business plan and according to local requirements.

• To supervise the smooth running of the security department
• Delegate, monitor and inspect daily checks and tasks carried out by the security team
• To supervise on functions, VIP arrivals and other events in case of additional security guards or special preparations
• Patrols the hotel on a regular basis and documents activities in accordance with corporate safety and security policies.
• Be aware of the Fire and Emergency procedures and security department’s responsibility in an emergency.
• Know hotel standards of operation and department procedures.
• Ensure control procedures in all operation aspects in accordance with hotel policy.
• Ensures a good key management system is adhered to
• To handle complaints, investigates and thoroughly reports on guest or employee injuries, thefts, assaults, lost property, car accidents, loud parties, vandalism and other safety and security related issues
• Maintain, inspect and test all security & safety systems as per daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and six monthly checks
• Ensure proper filing of records and storage is done for future references
• Communicates with the Security Manager or the Assistant Executive Manager, regarding any safety and security related matters in order to provide a safe and secure to hotel guests and employees
• Assisting the Security Manager in ensuring the SOS Manuals for all departments, Evacuation Hotel Guide, Hotel Contingency plan is up to date
• Any other reasonable responsibilities given to him by the Head of department
