Description

The Role

We are looking for a technically strong and commercially aware Systems & Distribution Analyst to support the revenue strategy of two high-volume properties. This role owns the revenue technology ecosystem and distribution health, ensuring that rates, restrictions, availability, and data flow accurately across all systems and channels.

You will be the “quality and automation layer” of the revenue function—reducing manual effort, improving speed-to-market, and ensuring every channel is working profitably and correctly. Critically, you will be the data architect for the Cluster Revenue Manager, building the reports and dashboards that drive all strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1) Revenue Systems Ownership & Data Integrity

  • Setup and maintenance of rate products (rates, packages, promotions, derived rates, fences), in line with Revenue strategy.
  • Own day-to-day monitoring of the revenue systems stack (PMS/CRS, RMS, booking engine).
  • Ensure accurate data flow and synchronization across systems (inventory, rates, restrictions, market segments, room types).
  • Perform regular audits to prevent and correct rate mapping issues, incorrect availability, or misconfigured rate plans.

2) Distribution Performance & Channel Health

  • Monitor channel production, booking pace, cancellation trends, and cost of acquisition by channel.
  • Maintain channel configurations (rate plan mapping, occupancy-based pricing, restrictions, allotments where applicable).
  • Conduct rate parity checks, identify root causes of discrepancies, and coordinate fixes with internal teams and partners.
  • Track distribution profitability (net ADR / contribution) and recommend optimizations (channel mix, promotions, visibility levers).

3) Reporting, Automation & Insights

  • Build and maintain performance dashboards and reporting packs (daily/weekly/monthly) for both properties.
  • Automate repetitive reporting and data pulls to improve speed and reduce manual errors.
  • Produce actionable insights for Cluster RM and Sales: pickup trends, channel shifts, campaign performance, and pace vs. prior year.
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support for the Cluster RM: deep-dives into segment performance, campaign ROI, pricing elasticity tests, etc.

4) Cross-Functional Support

  • Be the primary point of contact for revenue-related system issues for Sales, Reservations and Front Office.
  • Coordinate with corporate and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents.
  • Support user access, training, and documentation (SOPs) for revenue processes and system workflows.

What We Are Looking For

  • High attention to detail, process discipline, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Data analysis (pivot tables, lookups, data cleansing).
  • Solid understanding of distribution concepts: channel mix, parity, commissions, net ADR, mapping and connectivity.
  • Strong communication skills—able to explain technical issues and commercial impact clearly.
  • Experience in a hotel commercial function (Revenue, Distribution, E-commerce, Reservations, or Revenue Systems) preferred but not mandatory
