*Collaborating with other deparments to ensure all events are handled efficiently.
*Issuing events orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements and ensuring all orders are accurate and delivered on time.
*Handling orders by phone or email and in collaboration with the sales/catering managers.
*Ensures all events run as per the agreed terms with the clients in collaboration with operations departments.
*Developping and maintaining filing system so as to maintain sales records and clients data base.
*Give ideas and suggestions to the Director of Sales to ensure the products and services are attractive to the potential customers at all time.
*Assist with promotions and mass mailing where requested.
*Telesales and following up on accounts to cereate demand / promote/ highlight opportunities.
*Utilises the "Winning Edge" sales techniques
*Preparing offers, invoices and follow up payments in coordination with the sales or catering managers.
*Conducts on-site client inspections and entertainment when required.
*Coordinates activities related to booked business with other departments
*Communicates guest's requests to all departments in an effective and timely manner
*Assist the Director of Sales in conducting market analysis to understand guests needs, business potential, desired rates, etc.
*Attend sales blitz with the sales team when required.
*Prepares accurate forecasts as requested
