Key Responsibilities of the Hostess:

  • Answers telephone courteously following telephone answering procedure of the hotel.
  • Takes reservations according to the instructions of the Restaurant manager.
  • Maintains reservation book and database management system.
  • Responsible for filing all memos as per the instructions of the Restaurant manager.
  • Reports any customer complaint regardless how small it is, to the manager, in addition to guest comments.
Requirements of the Hostess:
-Experience in food & beverage service beneficial but not essential
-Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
-Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned
-Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms
-Strong communication skills
