Key Responsibilities of the AC Technician

• Supports the smooth operation of HVAC and air-conditioning systems throughout the hotel, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards

• Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of AC, ventilation, and refrigeration systems

• Responds promptly and professionally to guest and operational requests related to air conditioning and temperature control

• Ensures assigned tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and within set timelines

• Contributes to departmental plans and objectives, supporting hotel initiatives and performance targets

• Works closely with the Engineering team to control costs, manage spare parts inventory, and maintain productivity

• Builds and maintains strong working relationships while actively promoting the company culture and values

• Ensures full compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies, with proper documentation for internal and external audits

Requirements of the AC Technician

• Diploma/ITI certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related technical field

• Prior experience in AC/HVAC maintenance preferred (hotel or commercial property experience is an advantage)

• Strong hands-on technical skills with a proactive, can-do attitude

• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest comfort and service excellence

• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and provide effective solutions

• High personal integrity and the ability to perform in a quality-driven environment

• Basic knowledge of IT systems and maintenance management platforms

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
